What model is the first leash at 1:30?

This is brilliant. Crucial advice! 3 out of 5 struts worked perfectly. The last 2 just won’t slide all the way. Is it crucial to get the collar sitting flush on the valve or if it is half-way and no amount of strength moves it, is that a sufficient seal?

Nice video and presentations, very clear enough, As a newb in wingfoil, really like to appach with smaller board or inflatable one as travelling locally oversea trip, i am struggling to chose the Macro Air board size of 4'7" 80L vs 5'3" 110L, with my weight 62kg and 1.65m tall. Wing 5m and foil 1700, that is target size and going to place order soon for my 1st wing foiing trip to Thailand. Hope sharing those info and get a comment from an experienced riders. Tks

Tried this and the new valve stuck to the other side of the bladder which tore when I pulled it away to unstick it. Also the kit I bought didn’t come with the extra patch for the other side, customer service did not respond to my emails asking about this. Not impressed.

The one thing you didn’t mention is how fast it glides through the lulls without hardly slowing down

I got the pigtails to match a cabrinha bar to a naish kite. The cab bar has knots on the center lines, the naish kite has knots on the center lines. If I'm getting this correctly, should I make a lark's head knot on each end of the center pigtail? It looks kind of skecthy but if it is safe I'm down, Thank you !

I’m shure you would not fly this line for extended period of time, I’d recommend a Brummel lock splice and also thin out the ends of the line covered inside the other. I do all my lines and barsystems all by myself for years using brummel lock splice only. Also for depower lines and adjuster lines using 4mm lines doubled up to make them thicker to match the cleat. This way you end up with a loop at one end and a simple figure8 knot on the other end for the trimm handle

Fuck sending out two hundred bucks if you have a good quality sewing machine you just saved 200 bucks plus shipping v92 polyester UV thread make sure you’re machine is on zigzag 12 size needle and that repair will be done in 25 minutes for 200 bucks plus you get your kite back same day not 3 to 4 weeks

Hi Jeff. I knew the very smart technique to insert the bladder into itself from a friend, but it is the first time I see it on YT, thank you for that, it’s sometimes far easier to see than explain! The attachement of your line to the table is also very smart. I also see that despite your long experience, you still struggle a bit for the final insertion of the lip of the valve. I saw you twisted a bit in each direction, but I am unsure I got all your tips on this phase. May be the purpose of another great vid!!!😎

Very informative. I seem to have damaged my casing closer to the tip. I patched the bladder but I noticed a good sized scrape. Will Tear Aid work in the long term

Smart making the track nuts good for both sizes. Makes them a good long term investment.

Great review for an amazing wing. The 5M is my go to wing from 10-30knots it has great low end because is stays up in the air without you having to hold it and it builds apparent wind so fast. It replaced my 6.5 Dlab and 6M PPC M1. It's definitely fast upwind and downwind and the acceleration is addictive but it's not just for racing I really like the efficiency and low drag for charging big fast ocean swells. It's not ideal for wave riding or big shorebreak but the best wing for that is the cheapest easiest to repair wing in your quiver ;)

One thing Joe forget to mention - you should avoid to use your stainless steel screws because galvanic corrosion still here(especially a pair of titan and A2) . With titan nut you shoulkd use titan screw.

Looks really good. Definitely a step forward in design.

In my experience the current biggest issues with most single skin wings is that the trailing edge of the canopy bags out in a fairly short period of time and the performance of the wing goes to crap. Will a double skin wing like the Fusion be any better at resisting bagging out? Also, what is the low end performance of the Fusion like?

Great review Jeff! A couple of my friends here in SF love that wing.

Love it! Great review. I also find this wing goes downwind 8+ degrees more and much faster than other wings. Often, I can muscle my way upwind and keep up against these, but I can't keep up with guys going downwind on this wing.
